What it is

Held nightly at the Hoi An Impression Theme Park on Hen Islet (Cam An Ward), the Hoi An Memories Show is a one-hour outdoor theatrical spectacle unlike anything else in Vietnam. The production unfolds across a massive riverside stage, using a cast of more than 500 dancers, actors, and musicians to narrate the story of Hoi An from its agrarian origins through its golden age as a multi-cultural trading port. Sophisticated lighting rigs, original live music, water-dance effects, fire elements, and elaborately crafted costumes — including hundreds of flowing ao dai — combine to create a cinematic atmosphere that feels both grand and deeply personal. Ticket holders also receive entry to the broader Hoi An Impression Theme Park, so most visitors arrive before sunset to explore the park grounds before the show begins at 8:00 PM.
