Bird Paradise opened on May 8, 2023, at Mandai Wildlife Reserve in northern Singapore — the same wildlife hub as the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and River Wonders. It is the reimagined successor to Jurong Bird Park and is one of the largest bird parks in Asia, spanning 17 hectares and housing more than 3,500 birds from over 400 species, roughly 24% of which are threatened or endangered. The park is built around eight large walk-through aviaries, each recreating a distinct biome — from the flooded savannahs of South America to the highlands of Papua New Guinea — so visitors walk freely among free-roaming birds rather than viewing them through cages.
